This is the first of the actual boat parts to be cut and marks that start of the hulls.
The bow web is the very front of the boat joins with the foremost of the 11 bulkheads.
It is cut from a single sheet of 12 mm marine plywood and mounted along the centre line of the hull.
All the rest of the bulkheads are mounted across the jig.
They have centre lines marked on them which need to be aligned when they are mounted.
The picture shows one of the bow webs with my daugther standing on the hardback.
It gives a sense of scale to the boat. Have now cut out the forst and secound bulkheads and will add some photos soon.
